Designing & building a house is a deeply personal experience for you and for us. We are a small passionate team, ready to pursue the journey and are committed to guiding with authenticity, intention, and compassion. We’re not here to boast about our expertise, certifications, and depth of experience. We take pride in helping our clients make sense of the landscape of designing & building, talking you through the challenges, and reminding you how amazing it will be once we have completed our journey together.

Mark is a true craftsman through and through. He has a deep love for the art of building and considers himself a lifelong student of its many intricacies. Mark grew up in a family of tradesmen and despite early efforts in his life to distance himself from these roots, he can’t seem to stay away. Mark is a seasoned builder and entrepreneur as he built a successful local design/build construction company that continues to thrive today. He started Guide with his son Liam to reconnect with the hands on work that he had lost a little bit of at his former company and work with a small team of his amazing peers. Outside of his work, Mark enjoys spending time outdoors fly fishing, trail running, and mountain biking.

Liam is a true expeditionist at heart. He’s surfed the coast of  Africa, rafted through the grand canyon, raced on some of the most challenging mountain biking trails in North America and New Zealand, and paddled 800 miles in a canoe up the coast of Alaska. He feels most alive when pushing his capabilities to the limit and immersing himself in situations that demand his absolute best. He brings that same mindset to every building project. He grew up in a family of craftsmen and artists and has always had a keen eye for design. Having spent the past 10 years solving complex building problems and the past 7 years designing high-performance homes he’s ready to help bring your vision of home to life
